Bio[edit]
[edit]Hi world thank you for visiting my page I am glad to be apart of this great webpage. So a little bit about me, I am currently going to college full time and am working a part time job, I like to read and play video games. I like to play all sorts of videogames but I mostly prefer to play shoot em up games such as far cry, Modern warfare, and battlefield the games that I don't like to play a lot are sports games.
I have looked over some of the articles that interest me such as video games so I would like to maybe try and edit a page that is about one of my favorite video games ever Modern warfare 2. I grew up playing that game all the time with my brother and my best friends over Xbox live. It really interests me to make sure that all of the facts about the game are all true. I would also like to write about some of my favorite authors such as J.K Rowling and Cassandra Clare they are two of the best authors in my opinion.
Article Critique
[edit]Marcia Joanne Bennett is a talented author she wrote some pretty good books back in her heyday such as Where in the Ni-lach and beyond the Draak’s Teeth. Both of those books were written around 1984 in fact all her books were written from 1980-1990. I have read a couple of her books, so I decided to see what I could find out about her. I visited the Marcia Joanne Bennett on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: Structure, Completeness, and Grammar/Voice.
Structure
[edit]When I was reading the article I realized that there wasn’t much about her books it just gave us a bibliography of all the books that she had written. I would of liked to maybe see one or two summaries of her books. Just so if someone who hadn’t heard of her could know more about what her books and writing style is about.
One aspect that I really want to touch on is her biography as informative as it is was missing something I believe to be important is what she is up to today. It mostly focused on her time as a writer where as that is important it should also have some information about what she is up to today. Since she isn’t dead, she is still alive and kicking. So I would like to know is she still writing books or did she retire from that.
Grammar/voice
[edit]But enough about all the bad things about the article there was one major aspect that I like it was the grammar and voice aspect of it. It was very unbiased the author was very good about making it about her and not about what they liked about her books. It focused all about her time as a writer and about her early life and that was good.
Conclusion
[edit]So all in all I liked the page it was very interesting to know about how she became a writer. I didn’t really know a lot about her I only read her books. I am glad to know that someone out there cares enough to make a page about her on Wikipedia.
