Betsy-Tacy is a series of books by American author Maud Hart Lovelace about the adventures of Betsy Ray and her friends. They are primarily set in the fictitious town of Deep Valley, Minnesota and span from Betsy's childhood in the late 1890's, to her early married life up to the outbreak of World War I. These stories are based on Lovelace's experiences of growing up in Mankato, Minnesota.
