Immigration

Immigration has become a very popular issue over the past few years. ^[1] Many individuals are leaving their home countries and migrating to first world countries for various reasons. The two most common reasons now are 1) For better opportunities and 2) seeking a haven from war-torn countries or fleeing Religious persecution. According to an article by the Global Citizen, people are more prone to migrate to Canada to benefit from its free health care system. In 2018, Canada had the highest number of Refugees according to UNHCR. ^[2] Overall, immigration has been on the increase over the past few years and it will certainly continue especially here in Canada.
