Biography

Mohamed Hussain Rweidi, widely known by his nickname Bulldozer, is a highly accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt holder and physical education teacher from East Jerusalem. He holds the distinction of being the first-ever Palestinian to become a World Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a historic achievement in the sport. Mohamed is also the founder of Jiu-Jitsu among Arabs in East Jerusalem, where he has worked relentlessly to promote and grow the sport.

His journey in sports began in 2011 at the first-ever Jiu-Jitsu school in Palestine, The Source MMA, under coach Rami Shouli. Since then, Mohamed has established himself as a significant figure in the world of Jiu-Jitsu, fostering a strong martial arts community in the region.

Career

Mohamed began his athletic journey in 2011 and transitioned into coaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts. He co-owned and managed 101TEAM, a gym focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and functional fitness. He has held various coaching positions at renowned gyms and centers, where he has trained students of all ages and skill levels.

In 2023, Mohamed served as the main referee for the Palestine National Jiu-Jitsu Championship, showcasing his in-depth knowledge and experience. Currently, he is a grappling coach for MMA fighters at El Barrio Gym and teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Platinum gym in Jerusalem.
