[edit]I drive an '04 Blue Impala. Green is my favorite color. I am a Leo. Sundrop is my favorite soft drink, at Starbucks I love the Peppermint Mocha, and I am big fan of sweet tea. Italian is my favorite kind of food and Olive Garden is my favorite restaurant. I love coffee and I love to travel. I like animals; I have German Sheppard dog named Sandy and a rabbit named Grayson. I am a strong believer in karma. My mother died from Lou Gehrig's disease 1-6-2008, and since then I've remained close to my family. I'm originally from Enochville, NC and my genealogy is mostly German, Scotch Irish, and English. My favorite sports are fishing and snow skiing. I am a Christian. I enjoy being outdoors, I'm not much of a cyber nerd or gamer. I am often told I am a very friendly person and a hard worker; I always try my best and show up on time. Basically I’m a really easy going chill type of guy who is usually in a good mood, and I don’t care what others think of me. I’ve been called everything under the sun but just like Luke Bryan on his awesome Country CD…“I'll Stay Me.” Oh, and my favorite genre of music is Country but I listen to everything. I graduated from South Rowan High in 2009, and I currently attend Rowan Cabarrus Community College.

[edit]Dad's side of the Family: Litaker (German Heritage) Johannes Michael Casper Leyendecker, born near the Rhine Valley in Germany about 1716 and died in 1822 arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania aboard the Ship Shirley in 1751 from his homeland of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Johannes Michael Casper Leyendecker married Anna Maria Dieter (1711), and they had a son named Johannes Philipp Leyendecker (1736 - 1807). Johannes Philipp Leyendecker, born 28 Mar 1736 in Germany; died 10 May 1807 in Cabarrus County traveled from Germany on the Ship Shirley in 1751. On the same ship was Christopher Horlacher, father of Mary Horlacher who married Conrad Litaker. Johannes Philipp Leyendecker married Maria Rosina Ludwig born about 1743 in Pennsylvania; died about 1804 in Cabarrus County, they were married in the year 1758 in Pennsylvania and they had a son named Conrad Litaker. Maria Rosina Ludwig was daughter of Wilhelmus Johann Ludwig (1716) and Catherine Elizabeth Klein (1717 - 1784). Conrad Litaker (29 Jan 1766 - 15 Nov 1825) married Mary Ann Horlacher (1743 - 1832), daughter of Christopher Horlacher, born about 1728 in Germany, died about 1802 in Cabarrus. Conrad and Marry Ann were married in the year 1787 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, they then moved to North Carolina where they had a son named Daniel Litaker (1790) and a daughter named Sophia Litaker (25 Oct 1807 – 14 Nov 1855) who married George Barnhart, and Sophia is buried at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cabarrus County, NC (100 St John's Church Rd Concord, North Carolina). According to the 1800 United States Federal Census Conrad Litaker owned 1 slave, had 5 household members, and in the year 1805 owned land on Rocky River and Little Buffalo Creek. On Jun 9 1826 Conrad Litaker died at age 50 and was buried at St John's Lutheran Church; he was killed by being thrown off his horse while running a race with his son near Salisbury, NC. Conrad and his son decided to run this race because on their way home from a sale at the edge of Rowan County they both saw a blanket and decided to run a race to decide who should have the prize. Conrad’s horse “flew the track,” and dashed Conrad against a tree, fracturing his skull so badly he died. Conrad’s son Daniel Litaker (1790) who ran “The Litaker Insurance” in Charlotte married Sophia Barnhart (1798-1837), daughter of John Barnhardt (1786 - 1850) and Phillipina Schmidtinn (1773), on 12 Dec 1817 in Cabarrus County by Bondsman Jacob Ledecker and they had a son named John Litaker. John Litaker (1815 - 1886) who was a blacksmith married Mary Bostian (1819) on 10 Sep 1845 in Rowan County with Bondsman William R Litaker, Witness John H Hardie, and they had a son named Caleb W Litaker. During his 1840 residence of Cabarrus County at the age of about 25, John Litaker owned a total of two colored slaves, employed three people in agriculture, and had a total of 8 free white people living in his home including himself. Caleb W Litaker (8 Jan 1843) enlisted in the U.S. Civil War on 29 Mar 1862 and was a private in the Company B, North Carolina 20th Infantry Regiment, then after the war he became a farmer and married Mary S. Winecoff (31 May 1846 - 4 Jun 1922), daughter of John S and Mary An Winecoff, on 8 Jan 1863 in Cabarrus County by Bondsman W. F. Murph, and they had a son named John W. A. Litaker. John W. A. Henry Adam Wensil (15 Mar 1837 - 7 Mar 1922) Enlisted as a private in CSA Company A, North Carolina 20th Infantry Regiment on 19 Mar 1862, then became a farmer and married Sarah Jamirma Cook Fink (28 Feb 1847 - 10 Oct 1922), daughter of Levi Fink (14 Nov 1819 - 15 Aug 1900) and Nancy Levina Erwin (28 Feb 1825), on 28 Feb 1867 and had a son named Henry Alexander Wensil. Henry Alexander Wensil (17 Dec 1860 - 8 Jan 1930) was a farmer who married Mary Anne McGuire (11 Jun 1863 - 26 Feb 1932), daughter of Jae McGuire (1824 - 1901) and Sarah Sally Greer (1829 – 1908), in 1879 and had a son named Charlie Brown Wensil. Charlie Brown Wensil committed suicide with a shotgun blast to the head on 24 Jan 1951 and was buried in Mt. Mitchell Church Cemetery in Cabarrus County. Markus Maloney Jones (Dec 1846 - 1910) who was a farmer and owned a house in Black Mountain married Rachel Jane Stepp (Dec 1846-1920), daughter of Joshua P Stepp (26 Dec 1824 - 27 Aug 1862) and Isabella A Porter (28 Oct 1825 - 26 Feb 1862) in 1863 and they had a son named Winford Lee Jones. Winford Lee Jones (May 1886) who was a farmer married Martha Gibbs (29 Aug 1904 - 29 Jan 2002), daughter of John Avery Gibbs (1875) and Eliza Lenora Westall (1878), and they had a daughter named Ruby Jones. Ruby Katheryn Jones (24 Jun 1924) and Teddy Brock then had a son named Lee Powell who fathered Danita Dee Powell (30 Nov 1965 - 6 Jan 2008).
Stapp (English Heritage) Abraham Stapp, born in 1646 in England, died 8 Apr 1714 in Essex City VA, worked as a tobacco planter, and married Dorothy Moss (1654 - 1718) in 1650 and they had a son named Joshua Stapp. Joshua Stapp (1688 - 1783-03-27) occupation: planter, married Martha Coffey (1690 - 1772) about 1709 in Essex County, VA and they had a son named John Stapp. John Stapp (1710 - 1751-05-21) occupation: planter, married Ann Salmon (1710 - 1772) in 1731 and they had a son named James Stapp. James Stapp, born 1733 in Culpepper County, VA, died 22 Feb 1794 in Madison County, KY, married Lucy Gholston (1734 - 5 May 1795), daughter of Anthony Golston and they had a son named Thomas Stapp. Thomas Stapp (1760 - 1819) married Sarah Brown (1760 - 1830) and they had a son named Joseph Stepp. Joseph Stepp (1795 - Jun 1880) married Rachael Waters (1794 – 1 Sep 1876) in 1818, lived at and they had a son named Joshua P Stepp. According to the 1860 U.S. census for Swannanoa township, Buncombe County Joseph Stepp owned residence 159 worth $28,500 and 21 slaves. Joshua P Stepp who owned 4 slaves and residence 143 worth $6,000 married Isabella Porter daughter of Alexander Porter and Jane Young who owned residence 145 worth $18,500, and 11 slaves. Jane Young is daughter of John Young and Rosannah Hemphill who is daughter of Capt. Thomas Hemphill. Isabella’s parents Alexander and Jane are buried in the Patton Hill Cemetery established in 1794 by Presbyterian families. Joshua P Stepp (26 Dec 1824 - 27 Aug 1862) and Isabella Porter (28 Oct 1825 - 26 Feb 1903) and had a daughter named Rachel Jane Stepp. Joshua P Stepp fought on confederate side of the civil war, and never returned home leaving his prosperous widow Isabella to fend for herself. The 1884 Buncombe County Deed Book shows Isabella as the owner of over 2,000 acres along the North Fork of the Swannanoa, land where her home was located and where she and Joshua had begun their lives. Rachel Jane Stepp (Dec 1846 - 1920) married Markus Maloney Jones (1846 - 1910) on 26 May 1868 and they had a son named Winford Lee Jones. Winford Lee Jones (May 1886) married Martha Gibbs (1905) and they had a daughter named Ruby Katheryn Jones (24 Jun 1924).
Gibbs (English Heritage) Charles Gibbs (1853 - 1881), an Engine Driver in Haselor, Warwickshire, England married Terica Autery (1851), they moved to Yancy County, North Carolina and they had a son named John Avery Gibbs. John Avery Gibbs (2 Nov 1875 - 19 Nov 1960) who was a farmer married Eliza Lenora Westall (1878) and they had a daughter named Martha Gibbs. Martha Gibbs (29 Aug 1904 - 29 Jan 2002) married Winford Lee Jones (May 1886) and they had a daughter named Ruby Katheryn Jones (24 Jun 1924). Nall Richard Nalle, born around 1650 in Lincolnsheir, England had a son named Martin Nalle. Martin Nalle (1675 - 1728) married Mary Jane Aldin (21 August 1681 - 1 April 1734) in 1702 and they had a son named Richard Nalle. Richard Nalle (1716 - 1796) married Elizabeth Selby (1720 - 4 Feb 1794) in 1736 and they had a son named John Nall. According to the 1790 United States Federal Census, Richard Nalle lived in a household of 7 members in Chatham County NC, and owned 2 slaves. John Nall (1741 - 14 Sep 1781) married Martha Patsy Glass (1734 - 1792) in 1763 and they had a son named Thomas Nall. John Nall was a prominent and noted member of the Nalle family; he dropped the "e" from the family's surname. In 1764 John started buying land in Cumberland County and in 2 years he owned 1,262 acres. In 1778, he sold his land and moved to the Bear Creek area of Chatham County. Within three years his total holdings amounted to 2,684 acres. John was a member of the North Carolina legislature and a Justice of the peace. He served as a Major in the North Carolina forces of the Continental Army. On September 12, 1781 he fought in the Battle of Cane Creek at Lindley's Mill. Out of 400 soldiers, the Americans suffered ninety wounded and twenty-five killed John Nall was among the dead. Thomas Nall (1774 - 1835) served as a private in the Company 5 Reg't (Atkinson's) North Carolina Military during the War of 1812, then married Nancy Glass (1778 - 1850) in 1786 and they had a son named Nicholas Nall. According to the 1800 Federal Census, Thomas Nall was a farmer with a household of five people, including one slave. Nicholas Nall (2 Feb 1812 - 16 Oct 1887) who was a farmer-planter married Lydia Williamson (27 Apr 1821 - 19 Dec 1897) in 1840 and they had a daughter named Sarah Catherine Nall. According to the 1860 Census, Nicholas Nall of Moore, North Carolina owned $350 worth of real estate, and $600 worth of personal estate, employed 1 person in agriculture, and did not own any slaves.
