MITR PLAN
MITR Plan stands for Meetings, Inspections, Tests, Reviews. It was developed by Bird Construction in 2019 as part of their Quality Program, replacing the industry-standard "ITP" ("inspection and testing plan").
The MITR plan is a risk-based approach to Quality Management. Unlike compliance-based approaches, which focus on adherence of all scopes to specifications through inspections and tests, a MITR plan focuses on the scopes and activities with salient quality risks, and controls them with inspections and tests but also meetings and reviews.
