(Compose a detailed peer review here, considering each of the key aspects listed above if it is relevant. Consider the guiding questions, and check out the examples of what feedback looks like.)

A number of studies have also shown the complication of arsenic exposure on pregnancy and the fetus. Exposure has been linked to health complications for the mother and the fetus, as well as infant death due to complications. A fetal exposure to arsenic, or an exposure during early infancy has been correlated to the death of the child years later due to various health conditions that arise. These health conditions include, but are not limited to, various cancers, heart attacks, kidney failures, and complications in the lungs. These studies also showed a negative correlation between arsenic exposure and cognitive development, intelligence, and memory.

NOTE: THE ABOVE IS VERY FLUFFY BASED ON WHAT I HAVE READ IN PREVIOUS WIKI ARTICLES. MAYBE TRY REWORDING IT TO SOMETHING LIKE:

Various studies have shown that arsenic exposure during pregnancy can result in infant death, cancer, heart attacks, kidney failure, lung complications, as well as reduced intelligence, memory, and cognitive development in the child. (insert your source 1).

Arsenic that is naturally occurring can contaminate the soil, just as it does the groundwater. This presents a possible arsenic exposure for people who smoke products containing tobacco, because the tobacco plant grows from the soil and can become infiltrated with the arsenic.

NOTE: WHILE YOUR SOURCES CONTAIN RELEVANT AND GOOD INFORMATION, I THINK YOU CAN FIND MORE RESEARCH ARTICLES TO SUPPORT THE CLAIMS YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE. I LIKE THE INCLUSION OF THESE TWO IDEAS AS IT TALKS ABOUT RISK ASSESSMENT FOR BOTH PREGNANT WOMEN AND SMOKERS. PERHAPS TRY SOME OF THE LINKS I ATTACHED AS WELL AS FINDING OTHER MORE CURRENT AND RELEVANT ARTICLES.

NOTE: I THINK OVERALL YOUR TONE IS UNBAISED WHICH IS IMPORTANT. CONTINUE TO JUST STATE THE FACTS CLEARLY AND PRECISELY.

https://academic.oup.com/aje/article-abstract/165/12/1389/125329 I think this would be a really good article to use to tie in your aspect of the effect of arsenic on pregnancy because the original article talks in depth about the exposure in Bangladesh.

https://ehp.niehs.nih.gov/doi/abs/10.1289/ehp.6254 THIS ARTICLE SHOWS HOW ARSENIC IS METABOLIZED IN PREGNANT WOMEN

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00204-012-0904-5 I think this could be a cool avenue to take as well talking about normal metabolism to be able to compare it to metabolism in pregnant women.

https://factor.niehs.nih.gov/2022/2/feature/3-feature-e-cigarettes-and-toxic-metals this link talks about arsenic detection in some e ciggarettes which could tie into your piece about risk assessment in smokers.

Response: Thank you so much. These links are very helpful!!
