I am also married to a lovely man who forgets to check who is logged in whenever he makes Wikipedia edits, so if you're looking for info as to who edited the BayCon entry, it was John, not me. :-)

Note: Our friend Toren Smith passed away on March 4th, 2013, -not- March 5th as some reports have indicated. John and I have both tried to edit Wikipedia and have been 'corrected' twice now. We understand how it happened -- Hud was a lovely human being, but Toren was a dear friend of his and Hud was so distraught that he relayed incorrect information in his own blog, which was then subject to various signal boosts, and so on and so forth.

It's exasperating because Toren took pride in the accuracy of his work.

I realize I'm not part of the creative team Toren worked with and I understand that there's no name recognition or muscles I could flex anywhere in the manga universe that anybody would consider important enough to listen to -- but he was the best man at our wedding, and in honor of his own love of detail, -- which is what made his work so special, after all -- it's important to me that he be acknowledged and remembered as accurately as possible.
