Lotfi DK, his real name Lotfi Belamri (Arabic: لطفي بلعمري [1]), born July 6, 1974 in Annaba [2], is an Algerian rapper [3][4].
Biography
[edit]Coming from a modest family, his father is a laborer and his housewife mother, he grew up in a family of four children, two boys and two girls. These all have university degrees.
Lotfi will found a group, this group will be called the "Double Kanon" in the 1990s.
He graduated in Mathematics in 1992 at St. Augustine High School in Annaba, then a degree in Geology in 1998 from the University of Annaba.
Lotfi made models with very archaic material to present himself on the local radio and make himself known in the artistic environment.
He will be noticed a second time during his visit on the Annabi stages by presenting to the public this new style of Algerian music.
