Hi! I've been a registered Wikipedia editor since June 2012. After I finished and published my master's thesis on a little-known Union guerrilla-hunter, I decided to add him to Wikipedia*, and have been filling in biographical details on everyone he came into contact with, both on the Union and Confederate side. If I have an expertise, it's my thesis subject, George Henry Hoyt (no relation**), the Kansas Seventh and Fifteenth Cavalries, and the Kansas Red Legs, which will soon have its own page, I hope.
I am presently working on a book on Queen Anne's War, so once the research for that is finished, I will probably expand my view to include Colonial American articles.
I don't expect to do many edits to pages that are not directly related to American history, but you never know.
* It is possible that this could be deemed a conflict of interest, therefore I am declaring it on this page.
** I actually came across Mr. Hoyt when I worked in the Attorney General's office in Kansas. His picture hangs on the second floor and I passed it every day as I went to work. Obviously the name caught my interest.
