Hi! Welcome to my userpage! I've used Wikipedia for a long time now, but up until now it has been a look-but-don't-touch relationship. I've never tried editing or creating a page, but I think I could be an asset to the community once I learn how. I'm just dipping my toe in the water at this point, but I'm looking forward to learning about how to become actively involved in Wikipedia so I can give back for all the knowledge Wikipedia has given me.
As for a little more information about me; my name is Steve, and i'm a college student who lives in North Carolina.

I've been reading the introduction stuff Wikipedia has and I stumbled across this Adopt-A-Newbie Program. This sounds like it would be a good idea for me!
Since i'm just starting out, i'm probably going to stick to doing smaller edits for a while, as well as doing things like improving NPOV and fixing grammatical mistakes because these don't seem to involve complicated HTML-esque coding.
