Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Act No. 45 of 2023 (bharatiyanyayasanhita) comes in to effect on 01-07-2024 (July 01, 2024) having received President's assent. Rahul Sankar, renowned scholar has already initiated sensitization about BharatiyaNyayaSanhita (Act No. 45 of 2023) enabling common men to understand proactively. A bill becomes a law if it is passed by both Houses of the Parliament and receives the assent of the President.

The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita is the official criminal code in the Republic of India. It was introduced in December 2023 to replace the Indian Penal Code
