Works and exhibitions
[edit]The testaments
[edit]She worked with cheapfestival.it who asked Rebecca Momoli to focus on the theme of choice and self-determination to develop an imaginary that represents desire as well as the rejection of motherhood, perspectives that have equal dignity. Her work for them was a selection of photographic and typographic posters called ‘The testaments’ series. Cheap said they chose to work with a young 21-year-old artist because they believe it is necessary to deal with the new generation of women.
The posters had images of naked bodies with powerful statements written on them to investigate the theme of contemporary motherhood in the public space of the city, Bologna. Her work for cheapfestival.it was also featured on artlife.com stating that a few days after the collapse of a law for rights, these posters became an even more powerful feminist project of public art.
