This list of jeepney and modern jeepney routes in Metro Cebu includes all commercially operated jeepney routes in Cebu City and the surrounding area, as well as contracted modern jeepney services. Jeepney services in Metro Cebu are regulated by the Department of Transportation — Region VII and operated by private transport operators, individually licensed by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board. As of date, of the more than 200 public transport routes available in Metro Cebu, there are more than 70 routes being serviced by public utility jeepneys in the metropolitan region.
Jeepneys are the most popular means of public transportation in Cebu City and the surrounding area.[1] Modern jeepneys have also started plying the roads of the city namely: Beep operated by Persano Corp, El Pardo Transport Services Cooprative, Lahug-Apas Transport Services Cooperative (LATRANSCO), PeoplesJeep operated by Cebu People's Multi-Purpose Cooperative, among others.
