Basic Information

[edit]

Dear friends and all, I am back after a six years' hiatus from Wikipedia. My last entry was back in September 2006 and now I am a graduate student at NUS doing Southeast Asian Studies. One of my modules requires me to do a Wikipedia entry on a selected topic and I certainly hope this latest effort can be a springboard to another Wikipedia adventure. I shall not delete my previous entries about me which I wrote during my undergraduate days. On the back of more than five years of working experience and marriage would certainly made me more circumspect about life and I do hope my next entry will reflect a more mature manner of writing.

Intellectual influences include Reynaldo C. Ileto, Kevin McGahan, Ang Cheng Guan, Radin Fernando, Amitav Acharya, Michael Leifer, John Mearsheimer and Alexander Wendt. An apologetic Christian. Interests include Singapore and Malaysian history, Southeast Asian issues, history of Christianity, football, nature, education and heritage issues.
