- "Ballintubber Abbey, County Mayo". National Inventory of Architectural Heritage. June 2019.[1]
- This is a website dedicated to identifying, recording, and evaluating post-1700 the architectural heritage of Ireland. It covers Ballintubber Abbey in great depth and provides more reliable resources. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage is a state initiative established under the Architectural Heritage and Historic Monuments Act of 1999, so I believe that this is a reliable source.
- Blake, Martin J. (June 1904). "Ballintubber Abbey, Co. Mayo: Notes on its History". Journal of the Galway Archaeological and Historical Society. 3 (2): 85-88 - via JSTOR.[2]
- This journal is a great resource for the in depth descriptions of the architecture and history surrounding Ballintubber Abbey. It also speaks about the reactions to the restoration efforts.
- "History". Ballintubber Abbey. Retrieved October 19, 2022.[3]
- This is the official website for Ballintubber Abbey and provides information on the history and current projects at the abbey
- Murphy, Damian (April 2020). "Ballintubber Abbey". Gems of Architecture. 28 (2) - via History Ireland Ireland's History Magazine.[4]
- This article was published in magazine about architecture, so I believe in its credibility. It also provides in-depth information about Ballintubber Abbey. It was nice to be able to compare one source to another to double check for credibility.
