“I can not imagine a world whose future generation will find unfactual and inaccurate information. Innovation will fail, wars will not end and sickness will prevail. To avoid that, I will make Wikipedia better each day.”
The world relies on information. Sometimes, this information is what builds or breaks the world. But I am here for the good reason. For the future generations that will use this information for something better in the world. Wikipedia is not just some sort of encyclopedia; to me, it is the key. The key to information that many generations ahead will rely on to advance the world into a better place. History will be used to avoid past mistakes, research will be used to bring innovations and ideas to life, but most importantly, my efforts as a Wikipedian will be relied on to shape the future generations. It is therefore my duty to research, fact-check, and update Wikipedia as promptly as I can to endeavor that the world's future generations find updated and accurate information to take the world to a new level. This is why I am here. And, I am proudly a Wikipedian.
