Wikipedia Article Critique - Week 2

For my Wikipedia Critique I chose the “Wikipedia Zero” article found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_Zero, which is a project to provide mobile users with free internet access to all of Wikipedia.  The article has the majority of facts referenced by a reliable source, except in the history section. There are a few launch dates of Wikipedia Zero that have no souce. Ifound everything in the article to be relevant to the topic of Wikipedia Zero, and I did not get distracted by any non-relevant information. The information comes from dozens of sources, most being reliable news publishers like the Washington Post. The article has also been written, and edited by multiple users which means the information is more likely to be accurate and non-bias. I did not see any biased sources or opinions in the article, and felt it was neutral and fair overall. The article discussed negative and positive view points of Wikipedia Zero, although there was more written on the negative reception of Wikipedia Zero compared to the amount of positive reception. I think the article would progress in a positive direction if it had more information on positive reception of Wikipedia Zero. All the information and sources listed in the article were from within the past few years and are current. The links I tried did work, and took me to the source article. I did not find any evidence of plagiarism. Overall I think the article is well written and is in line with Wikipedia’s guidelines.

Wikipedia Article Addition - Week 3

For week 3, I have chosen the Wikipedia Zero page to contribute too. From last week I found the article to be well written and it followed the wiki rules, however I feel it lack any description about the number of users that are estimated to be using Wikipedia Zero. For my contribution for the Wikipedia Zero page I have added a sentence about the estimated number of of Wikipedia Zero users, which I found from a reliable source. I have properly sited the source in my contribution as well. Specifically I added the following sentence and source in the general description -

"With 68 operators in over 52 countries, it is estimated over 309 million people have access to Wikipedia Zero.[1]"
