Please don't delete my page. I haven't had time to set up a proper user page yet. I'm still considering what I should put. As far my editing activities go, I have been limiting myself to just minor corrections in grammar and straightening out awkward sentences. The only substantive editing I've done so far (as of October, 2008) is a couple of tweaks I did to the article Saguaro High School.Bayowolf (talk) 11:14, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Bayowolf

Wow! I haven't been on this page in a dog's age. Therefore I think I'll add something. I am not an expert in anything noteworthy (my knowledge is a mile wide but a foot deep). So, for the time being, I'll keep my editing activities to that described above.

I believe I'll use this page to state some of my positions on Wikipedia related issues. On the issue of Deletionism and inclusionism in Wikipedia, I tend to lean towards the inclusionist position. I agree with Jimmy Wales when he says that "people should relax and accomodate (http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikien-l/2003-November/008266.html)" people who write articles that might not measure up to someone else's notability standards. I come to this position honestly: When I was a kid in the 60's, I used to daydream about having a computer that would be small enough to fit on my desk. On this imaginary computer would be the ultimate dictionary/encyclopedia that would be organized like a dictionary--upon looking up a subject (e.g., "United States of America") one would find a dictionary-style entry about that subject; then, if he wants to read more, he would click on "read more". (My imaginary computer was to have a touch screen--the mouse caught me by surprise!) Maybe the powers that be can conflate Wikipedia and Wiktionary into my dream encyclopedia--if not, Wikipedia would still be on my Top 5 list of coolest sites.Bayowolf (talk) 11:32, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
