The International Private Healthcare Group, or IPH Insurance as it is more commonly known, is a British insurance company based in London. It deals in private health insurance internationally, as well as retail and property insurance for the British market. It was founded by Dr Peter W. Morrow in 1991 and remains a small family business, with some of W. Morrow's children joining the executive board.[1] The company is wholly owned by the family.

IPH is divided into two arms of operations: the international healthcare side, and the general insurance side.

IPH operates as a coverholder, and are currently underwritten by underwriters at the Lloyd's of London insurance market.[2]

Private health insurance

IPH has been in the business of private health insurance since the 1990s, to an international market. The company are undergoing a brand rejuvenation and now have agents selling their products in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

General insurance

Since 2000, the company has sold retail and property insurance for small UK-based businesses, as well as landlords and homeowners. In particular they have targeted the British Asian market, such as owners of takeaways, restaurants and food manufacturers.

Sponsorships

IPH has sponsored several events in London, including the annual London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival.

They also hold and sponsor private events that for their clients, as well as for the local North London community.[3]
