Greetings. To sign the guestbook add "<li> your comment ~~~~", which should already be there. Edit as appropriate.

Don't add a subject/headline unless your going to remove it; it messes up the list.
Using an asterisk or a hash instead of <li> causes your comment to go in a list within the intended list.
Yes this is/was an excessive amount of effort on my part for just a guestbook, but I'm like that and it makes me happy.
