Professor (DR) Jagjit Singh Bahia, MD Medicine / Jagjeet Bahia / DR Bahia (born 2nd March 1972), better known as Jag Bahia, is an Indian actor, director and film producer who works in Punjabi films. Jag Bahia started his acting career in 2014 with the film "The SEER" based on the "THE BONDED LABOUR" and rose to prominence with the “THE RIVER” and “THE LAHNTA”. Subsequently he featured in a successful film "JHANJAR WITH OSTEOSARCOMA" which had participated in IFFI 2018 in GOA, INDIA. Recently produced, acted & directed Hindi Short Film ‘Dr. SAHIB’ 2020. He worked with very round theater artist Mohinder Pardhan ji. They together played and written plays at Bathinda.. He made his Punjabi film debut “The SEER” in 2014. His notable work in Punjabi cinema with many upcoming projects. He is married to Maninder Kaur Bahia with whom he have a son and daughter.

'Early life Jag Bahia was born in a Punjabi Mazhabi Sikh family in Lehra Muhabbat village, Bathinda dIistrict ,Punjab, India. He hails from a family of landless farmer. His father name is SH Gurdev Singh gharu and mother name is late smt Tej kaur . He studied at his village form primary to metric level at government school. He did 10+2 form government Rajindra College Bathinda , after that he cleared PMT Examination held by IMS, BHU ( Banaras Hindu University ) VARANASI Utter Pardesh and completed MBBS, MD ( MEDICINE).
