BSW-RMH is a communications professional with more than 25 years of experience in medicine and research. Formerly an assistant professor of molecular & cellular biology from Baylor College of Medicine, BSW-RMH has a PhD in immunology and has extensive research experience in the areas of: bioscience, and regenerative, clinical, and translational medicine.

BSW-RMH was also a professional biomedical editor for many years, performing copyediting and stylistic rewriting of primary research articles, grant applications, clinical and technical reports, and online biomedical information. BSW-RMH was the lead editor for Bioscience Writers (BSW; www.biosciencewriters.com) to review health-related articles as a contributor to BSW’s collaboration with Google and WikiProject Medicine. WikiProject Medicine is an open collaboration effort to ensure the quality of medical information in Wikipedia articles.
