Travel guru John DiScala, who is known professionally as “Johnny Jet,” has seen other business agreements come to a halt besides in-person speaking gigs. “We’ve had Twitter chats cancelled,” DiScala explained, as companies have been pulling out of paying for them, along with sponsored posts. “So, I’m definitely taking a hit financially. I’m also now telling people not to travel, which has always been the opposite of what I tell people.” On the flip side, DiScala has been getting expertise inquiries from TV news stations and has put together an online guide relating to the coronavirus. “Now, I’m giving people information about what’s going on in the world.”[3]
