SmarterMail
[edit]First released July 13, 2003, SmarterMail is a Windows-based mail server software program. It competes with Microsoft Exchange, IMail, MailEnable, and other alternative mail servers.
SmarterMail is comprised of three main components: the Web interface, the Windows service, and the Web server. The Web interface is a browser-based administration platform that installs on a single server and supports administration of domains and email accounts, as well as email accounts access by end users. End users can access and manage their email accounts through Webmail or a desktop mail client application like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. The Windows service controls data storage and retrieval, protocol services, and administrative functions. Finally, the Web server gives users and administrators access to the Web interface from the Internet by utilizing the IP address assigned to the local machine.

- SmarterMail 2.x (September 2004)

Programs like SmarterTicket are most often used by an organization’s customer support call center to create, update, and resolve reported customer issues, or even issues reported by that organization’s employees. SmarterTicket is now a legacy product and has been replaced with SmarterTrack.
SmarterTicket
[edit]First released April 28, 2008, SmarterTrack is a customer service software program that utilizes tickets to track and report on issues. The Web-based help desk application is commonly used to track customer service and support cases within an organization.
SmarterNotify
