I will attempt to prove that I am in fact the person that pushed open the door of the first two way means of communicating with television media. Via the Fax machine. I'm waiting for some acknowledgement from the folks that were working at CNN in Atlanta in that 1989-90 time frame. I sent a fax to CNN, Atlanta regarding a question I had about Wolf Blitzer while he was doing a nightly reporting from a hotel in Bagdad during the Golf Wars "Shock and Awe" campaign. I did recieve a phone call from Mr. Bob? Johnson, Presidernt of CNN the vary next day. He left the message on my answering machine asking me or Inga to call him back, and left His personal phone #. They posted their fax number two weeks after I sent mine to them. I did not call back Mr. Johnson, but still have His private phone # arounnd somewhere. The content of my fax to them had a cartoon drawing of Mr Wolfe Blitzer, and mentioned "situation" in the content. My wife Inga signed it, and put our phone #. I have yet to recieve anything back from the CNN News team in Atlanta as to my claim. Maybe to much time has passed for them to have record of it, or they just do not wish to give me credit for it. Maybe someday..
