About Me
[edit]Nothing exciting to say really, I'm a 21 year old student from the UK, studying computer science. I've been using Wikipedia for years, contributing by fixing spelling errors, punctuation mistakes and bad grammar, three things that really bug me, but I never created a username until recently. I've just finished reading The Wikipedia Revolution by Andrew Lih, a very interesting book that pushed me into making a username, rather than remaining anonymous. I don't always have a lot of time to spend on Wikipedia, unless I'm looking something up for an assignment, but I suppose I shall keep on fixing poor spelling like I've always done.
Manual of Style
[edit]Although I mostly concern myself with spelling and grammar, I made sure that I read the Wikipedia Manual of Style. But I didn't like reading it online and from the screen, so I spent an hour or two putting it into a nice looking (if I do say so myself) Word document that I could print and read, and use as a handy reference - not just for Wikipedia articles either. I know a lot of people finding reading long pages of text from a computer screen difficult, so if you'd like to download a copy to print, I've provided a link to a Word file. Please use it and improve on it
