Bio
[edit]Thank you for visiting my page. I am (1999-Present) and am currently in school for engineering. I am a visual/hands on learner and enjoy making things with my hands. When I was little, almost the only thing I played with was Lego bricks. I built what ever came to mind; cars, planes, spaceships, you name it, I probably tried building it. Computers were also a big thing because I enjoy playing video games and building a computer is like putting together an expensive Lego set.
I currently am in love with cars. I am fascinated by how they work and the troubleshooting and knowledge that goes into working on them. Right now I am working as a lube tech at a Chevrolet dealership changing oil and doing other small things. I know in the future I would like to do something car related but I'm not entirely sure what yet. My dad has a friend who is a lead mechanic on a racing team and I've been thinking about maybe doing something racing related.

Article Review
[edit]I am a huge fan of Nissan’s Fairlady z cars. They were the Datsun 240/260/280 z in America and were incredibly good-looking cars. That is why I was surprised to see that the Wikipedia page had some issues that hadn’t been looked at. To help improve the quality of it I visited the Nissan S30 page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: The sparse use of citations, the shortage of sources, and a personal viewpoint on the car.
Citation Uses
[edit]If you look at the first six paragraphs of the page, you may notice that there is not one citation in it. There are multiple places where facts are stated and just left for the reader to question. For example, it states that Yoshihiko Matsuo was the head of Nissan’s Sports Car Styling Studio but there is no citation anywhere to prove it.
Shortage of Sources
[edit]There are 11 sources in total for the entire page which seems like a very small amount for all the numbers and facts stated throughout the page. Throughout the page there are very few cited sections that should use the sources and I think a portion of that has to do with the lack of sources to back things up.
Personal Viewpoints
[edit]Nissan created an amazing car that is loved by many, but Wikipedia is a place where those viewpoints cannot show. In the first paragraph it states that the Fairlady z is “one of the most successful sports car lines ever produced…” which is a statement that isn’t supported by and numbers or facts.
Summary
[edit]This Article does do a good job explaining the Nissan Fairlady z but it has some problems. Its main problems including the viewpoints, sources, and citations used are the main ones causing it to not be totally reliable.
