The MMLB stands for Minecraft Major League Baseball. The MMLB was founded in 2015. It is a baseball league based in Minecraft and includes 21 teams which are divided into four groups, A group, B group, C group, and D group. Most teams have IRL managers, but some teams managements are simulated if they are not claimed.

Teams have 2 annual drafts in which the managers may recruit new players for their team and or switch players out from their 15-man roster. Players, games, and stats are simulated because there aren't enough Minecraft Java edition players that know about the MMLB. The first draft of every season is during the off-season before the season starts. Teams may trade and draft players. The second draft is mid-season when all the teams have played 20 out of their 40 total games.

Teams are based in Minecraft cities that serve as their "home" stadium. During the MMLB World Series, teams alternate "playing" in each other's fields. World Series competitors are determined by the playoffs.

Playoffs pit the first place teams of A group and B group in a game and the first place teams of C group and D group in a game. The winners of these two matches go to the MMLB World Series. Similar to the MLB, The MMLB World Series is a series of games played best out of seven.
