Howdy pardner! Thanks for the note. rodii

You seem like you know what you are doing already, but let me extend a big ole' welcome your way! --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 21:10, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the vote, but ...

[edit]

Thank you for the support vote, but I'm afraid the rules of the election say you don't qualify to vote. Voters had to have 150 edits before Jan 9th 2005 ... —Matthew Brown (T:C) 21:58, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On morons (of which you are)

[edit]

You being a perfect example of what constitutes a true grade A moron should realise that more than one person uses Wikipedia in my distinct home and workplace - you have heard of routers haven't you? Perhaps the fact is you're too stupid to realise when I stated I was leaving I did in fact leave. You, along with Zoe and EurekaLott the self-proclaimed idiots who make this place a joke should perhaps give it a rest and lay off me, I haven't done anything regarding your sockpuppetry and I would prefer for you to leave me alone, I already stated I will not be active on here. I had only recently reappeared to show support to certain editors for the article of the MTV Generation, I have no idea what you're insinuating about myself having voted twice in other AfDs. SO please make sure you have your facts stright before you act like a jack-ass! Piecraft 19:48, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heads up on User:Chuck_Marean

[edit]

Don't take it personally, but ol' Chuck took it upon himself to eviscerate your remarks. He does this to everyone who says anything remotely critical. Avogadro 14:14, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up, but how could I take it personally, all things considered? I've no issue with him of fact. I'm amused he's termed such vanilla language as 'personal attacks'. He certainly seems to use a different dictionary from the rest of us, which is why I put on me 'mediator's hat' and took the time. Well, at least that's consistant with the track record that made me decide to attempt to get through to him by providing a mirror as a disinterested party on the WP:WC. May help if it comes down to an RFC from people with real clashes. All I can do is offer help, but it still takes two to tango. See ya // FrankB 14:50, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, he blanked it again. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.... --mtz206 (talk) 14:49, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chuck Marean

[edit]

Wow, thanks for the photo. You are correct that I'd mistaken him for a youngster. Oh well. I have had previous run-ins with Chuck also, as have a number of other editors. I must admit my patience for his antics is limited. As I mentioned on his talk page I'm quite prepared to step in with a block if his editing of Personal finances continues. Thanks for the message, Gwernol 15:38, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work!

Nice work on the Cleveland article, keep it up! -- Clevelander 23:30, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Carroll Hall edit

[edit]

I'm neither Mike nor Jeff, but rather Bobby, a Vermin from the late 80s. I don't understand what is non-notable about winning the Bookstore Basketball Tournament. It is probably the most prestigious acheivement in non-varsity sports at Notre Dame and merits a huge trophy and memorabilia in the lobby of the dorm. As any alum and they will tell that you that the Bookstore Basketball Tournament is a very prestigious event on campus. That certainly seems notable to me. [1][2]I think Fr. Sullivan and Fr. Thomas would agree. Rkloska 05:09, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Avogadro94. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
