Characterized by deep emotional lyrics, eccentric hairstyles and androgynous fashion [4] his music has been branded as "emo" and "rock" leaning, "genre-bending"[82][4] with music focusing on deep emotional lyrics.[93] More specifically, he has been labeled as a hip hop, [94] trap,[95] and emo rap artist.[96] With a consistency for short, melodic songs, Avion is a upcoming figure for the current era of hip-hop. In 2018, the streaming platform Spotify named "emo rap" its fastest growing genre. Avion attracted attention following the release of his debut single "Help Me" in 2020.[7] The song would act as the stepping stone to rising on TikTok gaining over 530,000+ followers in only 3 months. Avion has since released one single, "Everlasting", but I am excited to see what comes.
