WAAAM
WAAAM is located in Hood River Oregon adjacent to the Ken Jernsted Memorial Airport. WAAAM is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization commited to the preservation and education of aviation, automobile, and other historic transportation related relics.
WAAAM is open to the public every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
WAAAM has boasts the largest flying collection of OX-5 powered Airplanes, and the largest collection on 3 cylinder radial powered airplanes. The collection is mainly focused on the Golden Age of Aviation aircraft (1903-1941), but also includes many light WWII Army, Army Air Corps, and Naval Aircraft.
WAAAM's biggest event is held the first weekend after Labor day every year, and features antique aircraft and automobiles from through out North America. [1]
