- Basics
- Article Creation Wizard Wikipedia:Article wizard
- Wikipedia:MOS Wikipedia's manual of style. To ensure all formatting is in accordance to the standards. E.g. no need for citation in the lead.
- Wikipedia:AS Article size should be less than 100kb, otherwise should trim or split. (see "page information" on left column for page size)
- WP:TPG Talk page guidelines. use semi colons ":" to indent a conversation, or if too many use {{od}} to start a new one.
- Advance
1) COI "Conflict of interest" E.g. Please declare all your COI to anyone affiliated against Christian Gospel Mission (CGM) or Jung Myung Seok. (see WP:DISCLOSE)
2) COPYRIGHT: Ensure that there is no close paraphrasing, yet no original research. (Write in own 'words' like re-dictating to a friend, but make sure all of it is cited). Use COPYVIOS tool to check for close paraphrasing. Can be speedy deleted.
- Regarding websites that directly translate a news from another website [source | archived]:
- If the website does not even cite the original, it results in direct copyright infringement and plagiarism.
- Even if the site cites the original, it is still is an act of copyright infringement. However, most blogs and websites tend to not heed this.
- If the site cites the original, after asking for permission from the original owner, then it is good. This is the best option.
- If you don't receive a reply, then don't post the exact translation on your own website. It is ok to translate only a portion (the smaller the better) for use in an original ::article written by you, or write in prose (use COPYVIO to verify).
- 2b) Wiki does not allow eternal links to sites which violate copyright infringements. Wikipedia:ELNEVER
3) WP:NPOV "Neutral Point of View". Write neutrally, do not write promotional language WP:PROMO or write as a WP:SPAM
4) Sources / References
- Wikipedia:SELFPUB Use of self published source (e.g. own official website) is allowed but limited to simple facts.
- Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (WP:RS).
- Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks (There are thousands of sites that take from wikipedia as a source. Some don't declare it too). We are not suppose to cite from them to prevent circular citation. Look at the list based on alphabet from the link.
- Unreferenced section:
- More references need: [citation needed] This section needs additional citations for verification. (March 2017)
5) Translations
- See 2a)

- Section linkages: Linking to sections Section linking
8) Resolving disputes: If two editors are unable to resolve the issue on the talk page, see a third opinion by pasting the active dispute there linking directly to the section that is disputed. (Wikipedia:Third opinion) e.g. paste the following under "active disputes" Talk:Providence (religious movement)#Proposed Updates to History Section.
