Priroda (Nature) is a progressive Russian scientific journal, founded in 1912 by the Man and the Universe society. It is published monthly and focuses mainly on natural science. It had a circulation of 60,000 in 1974.

Publishers
[edit]During the 1920's it was the publication of the Commission for the Study of the Natural Productivity of Forces of the Academy of Sciences, and in 1930 it became a journal of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
