Outline of proposed changes
[edit]- Rework the introduction to improve fluency and add in more reliable references
- Add more information about nesting behavior, diet, morphology, and types of nighthawks
- Clarify the relation between nightjars and nighthawks or remove the comment
- Move the segment about nighthawks being called "goatsuckers" towards the end and include more information about historical relevance and cultural significance
- Find a more updated article about migratory behavior
- Incorporate the second article about nighthawk appearance into the first
- Move the comment about egg laying to a section about nesting behavior
- Move the comment about the bill to a section about diet
- Flesh out the behavior paragraph
- Move the paragraph about nightjar similarity to a section about types of nighthawks
- Include more images
By adding in this information I will develop a more comprehensive article that transitions between topics in a logical way. Updating the sources and including more peer reviewed articles will improve the credibility of the article and provide a greater depth of topics to reference.
