About Me

[edit]

I used to be a specialist in the automotive workforce, but now I'm seeking an education. My goal is to be able to advocate for those who aren't able to speak up, and develop skills for better communication while doing so. Now having grown up in the PNW I have learned that the weather is almost more bipolar then myself as well as, everyone loves to fish. I spend my time enjoying books ranging from law to ethics, psychology to philosophy, and utopia to dystopia.

My Wikipedia Activities

[edit]

I avoid almost all wikipedia articles and don't trust any information I have read from this site unless I have learned the information from another source. While in the public school system all articles from this site were widely not accepted as true or cite worthy information, "On stage in 2017, while presenting at an academic conference of thousands, the audience erupted in giggles and guffaws. I didn’t tell a joke. I simply said, “I edit Wikipedia.”"[1] The perfect example captured by Jackie Koerner.

Article Evaluation

[edit]

I have been interested in developing a new complete world view after years of hardship and lack of attachment. Using the biopsychosocial approach gave ingenuity to a full and complete view of the world. George L. Engel was the man who came to design this wonderful approach and I wanted to know the man behind the ideals. I found the validity of the article trustworthy using the article's most recent update, by checking the links for live and active information, as well as the neutrality of the article through any bias claims or language.

Current Information

[edit]

The article on George L. Engel was last updated on April 30th, 2023. Being that there as been no recent changes or updates would bring into question on the accuracy of the article if the subject of discussion  was still alive, knowing that George Engel passed away in 1999 I would have to assume that the facts on the page are at their final resting places unless a scandal or social ethics were to change bringing his conduct into question.

[edit]

When checking if the links were operational. I explored through the opening wikipedia links and didn't find anything strange so I decided to change my focus to the references. Upon exploring the few links  there I saw nothing out of the norm other than a lot of Bibliographies as well some very slow uploads causing the connection to be challenging to endure.

Articles View and Bias
[edit]

The article on George L. Engel was a very informative read, it was quick to show what George L. Engel wanted to pursue and how he tried to shape his path. The article also included how he would eventually join a teaching he originally wasn't keen to and molded psychosomatic to biopsychosocial method. Furthermore,  I found no biases in the article and was delighted to explore deeper into a topic discussed in my current psychology class.

Wikipedia has been able to maintain clear and accurate information involving George L. Engel. This was clearly demonstrated by having links that connected to current and accurate websites, as well as having little to no noticeable biases in the information provided which was last updated April 30th, 2023. Engel holds trustworthy information and was able to give me a greater understanding and appreciation for the biopsychosocial approach.
