I've read articles here for years, but only as of May, 2005 have I actually contributed anything. Like a lot of other contributors, I thought it was time to stop talking and start doing. I don't currently have any crusades or agendas. There are just a few things that I know something about and can find information on that I hope will be of interest to others, and of course I always want to do something about typos and other smudges that seem to detract from articles. I'd hope I can be neutral and reasonable in discussions here, and hope to see the scope of the encyclopedia expand rather than contract to a mere retelling of some one else's information.
