My aim here on Wikipedia is to be as unbiased and neutral as humanly possible. I believe that the underlying facts and evidence matter far more than perceived narrative, opinions, and spin. In particular, the Asian American community has been the victim of false narratives both on social media and in the mainstream press. This unfortunately gets translated into libel and defamation against Asian American public figures on Wikipedia. I seek to refer everything back to the actual evidence rather than media spin in order to make Wikipedia a more neutral, factual, and balanced space that treats everyone fairly.

Interesting nerdy fact about me: My favorite show of all time is Star Trek The Next Generation. My favorite episode within the series is "The Drumhead." It's about how Captain Picard stands up to a Starfleet Admiral who wields the tools of censorship and character assassination to tear the Enterprise crew apart rather than uncover the truth based on actual evidence. I was around 14 years old when I first saw that episode and quite frankly thought it was extremely boring. I never appreciated the morality message of this episode until now, 25 years later, in our current age of social media and out of control media sensationalism.

In fact, Captain Picard's words still ring true in my ears:

"We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then, before you can blink an eye, suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
