Gautam Das Squash
[edit]Gautam Das (born 10th October 1983, in Kolkata)[1] is a professional squash coach from India and the founder of GDsquash (online and offline squash portal). He completed his schooling from Birla High, Kolkata[2]. Currently working with Squash Racket Federation of India[3] as East zone coaching incharge.
Early Life
[edit]Gautam Das born in the year 1983 to Odia parents in Kolkata, grew up to be a successful squash enthusiast in the country.
Career Overview
[edit]Gautam Das, who is a coach in The Calcutta Racket Club[4] is currently heading the GDsquash foundation which deals with all squash queries both online and offline. Gautam Das has served in the Squash Rackets Federation of India as the Assistant National Coach of the Junior and Senior Indian team from October 2008 to August 2014. He has the highest level of coaching qualification i.e. ASF Level 3 from Malaysia. He is also WSF level 1 National Tutor.
Achievements
[edit]He has a few prestigious awards in his kitty. He was recognized as the Coaches certificate in the year 2009[5], development coach of the year 2010 and Junior coach of the year 2012 by the Asian Squash Federation. He worked as the coaching instructor for the ASF and WSF coaching Level 1 coaching courses.
