After many years, an old man named kannupillai(a farrier for oxen), who frequently took lunch at her home, told jayalakshmi that she would be blessed with a boy baby. He asked her to name the child as Sivaraman, referring to a person he knew who served food to those in need nearby town Panruti. He also said that her son would serve food to people. She soon gave birth to a baby boy, and in spite of opposition by relatives, kept the same name Sivaraman.

He discussed with Krishnanda , after taking his advice he convinced. Upon hearing this, Sivaraman decided to meet Krishnanda to progress in his own spiritual path. Krishnanda provided the book named 'Siddha Vedham'.One day at dawn, Sivaraman planned to leave his parents and to go Vadagarai. As he got ready to leave home, wavered to leave his parents or not. After observing his actions, his mother said to go wherever he wanted. However, thinking of his parents, he did not leave for two years and he did not meet Krishnanda again during this mean time.

He went inside his mediation room and locked the door. After five days, he could no longer sit inside the room as he felt a disturbance that his parted worried parents were sitting near the door of his room without eating food, waiting to see sivarman.
