Placement and III cell
[edit]The Industry-Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) of the college is a dedicated cell to promote the close interaction of industry and various departments of the institute. There is very little linkage between what is taught in academic institutions and what is required in actual field of employment. We need to build an implicative system to bridge the skill gap and to sustain in the changing scenario; hence there is great need of an efficient Industry Institution Interface. Industry and institutes interacts with each other to enhance their capacity for growth and development. Both industry and institutes need to work in synergistic manner and address the complementary issues. Technical Education forms the backbone of development of a nation. Industry is the major consumer of technical institution product. There is a need for effective intervention to understand employer needs, variable sector specific skills, training requirements that improve business performance, articulation of business expectations in education institutions and engagement of industry leaders with higher education institutions.
Students are motivated by arranging visits, industrial projects and industrial training. Analysing the feedbacks of students to dept., inviting learned personnel from industry for involving them in our academic programs to bridge the gap. We take care of our students by providing trainings including professional one to make the students best fit for the industry. Majority of the students are selected through campus recruitment every academic year by Multi-National companies. The placement activities run round the academic year mostly for core industries. Reputed companies visit our institution with a higher priority for its brand name.

College Logo
[edit]College Logo
The logo of any organization depicts the nature of the organization, its working and its work culture. A logo speaks a lot about the organization.
The J. J. Magdum Trust is committed to providing quality education in the Western Maharashtra region. Under the trust there are 11 institutions educating thousands of students in different fields ranging from Medicine to Pharmacy to Engineering. It firmly believes that higher education is the most powerful way to elevating not only the living standard but also the cultural and moral values.
The logo shows a gear which is a symbol for the industrial development. Industrial development is the highway towards wealth and progress. All the prosperous and developed nations in the world today have a rich industrial culture. The gear is also suggestive of the study of the Mechanical Engineering which is the basis of the industrial revolution.
Within the gear there is a computer. The computer is a symbol of the proliferation of technology whose backbone is computer system. All of today’s highly automated systems which appear to work like magic are actually computer controlled. Thus the computer in the logo suggests that we are keeping pace with the most advanced technological development by incorporating electronic and computer science in our domain.
Above the gear there is a flying eagle. Eagles are considered as living symbols of power, freedom, and transcendence. Eagles are revered in India as the vehicle of Lord Vishnu. Eagle is a king of birds. In the logo the eagle stands for supremacy, dominance and reverence.
