AsLK or Anak sa Liking Kawayan was formed in 2006. AsLK is originally from Bohol Philippines. It was developed by Nior Migoman, a dreadlock rastaman. His interest and passion for reggae music came from the music of Bob M arley and the teachings of Rastafari. AsLK started recording with Zubu Records, Cebu City Philippines. AsLK has unofficially released the song “True Meaning” on some fm stations in Bohol Philippines and the song Jingle Song on “Radyo Natin Fm Station” on Jagna Bohol Philippines. Unlucky, AsLK didn’t last long and suddenly disappeared. Some members work elsewhere, others already have families. Until the day comes when AsLK is remembered just by listening to music and in the years that have passed, Aslk has completely disappeared. July 2021, Nior Migoman started contacting AsLK members. He brought it together and had a meeting somewhere. August 2021, AsLK was suddenly re -formed and started recording old songs that were made in 2006. It was done at Soundgarage Recording Studio, Tagbilaran City Philippines. In 2021, AsLK was blessed because the album that started in 2006 was finally finished. The album “The Untold Legacy” was released on November 30 2021 with 10 songs. We are sincerely grateful to all the people and creations involved in this album. This album is dedicated to the world.
