Morteza Moradian (born on 26th of january 1966 in Tehran) is an Iranian diplomat. Before this, he was Iran's ambassador to North Korea and Denmark.[2] He has a master's degree in international relations from the University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is fluent in English and Arabic languages.
Broadcasting pictures of Amir Mohsen's son Morteza Moradian's wedding ceremony with Anashid Hosseini, a fashion designer in West Tehran, attracted the attention of the media. Critics believed that billions of Rials were spent in this ceremony and this is due to Iran's dire economic situation. Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Sadr al-Sadati was one of the clerics and one of the first publishers and critics of this ceremony, who considered it a luxury. Morteza Moradian and his family called this wedding "according to the customs" of Iranian society and accused Sadr al-Sadati of false accusations.
