ART SAMANIEGO JR. known as "Manong Art" in the PH Tech industry is the Technology Editor and the Information and Communications Technology head of the Manila Bulletin. He is also a certified Google IT Support Specialist, an IBM certified Cybersecurity Analyst, and ISO/IEC 27001 Certified Information Security Associate.

He is the Manila Bulletin's (www.mb.com.ph) resident geek and recognized as one of the country's go-to-guy for technology-related issues.

At present, he embraces the advocacy that fights fake and unverified news. Following his motto of "fighting fake news one story at a time", he patiently scans the Internet for any fake news and scams and debunk them one by one.

He is also doing his part on cyber security where he works with government and private institutions to make the Philippine Internet a safer place for all.
