An EBM/Industrial/IDM project that was established in the mid 90s from the ashes of the defunct pioneer Goth-EBM band, Apparition. As its main vocals, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Christian a.k.a Manifesto is the only official member of Decay Transit and remains solely responsible for the musical direction of the group. The Band's music is a collision of current and classic EBM, Where old and present concepts exists in an uneasy blend, but this has since broadened to encompass a thematic view of industrial music. The music ranges from throbbing electronic dance, noise, down-tempo and sometimes having off-beat patterns, leaning towards drum n bass and descends deeper to IDM.

Inspirations were taken from a wide range of influences including contemporary underground culture, industrial (old & new), IDM and ambient. Because of this, the band employs different techniques on creating their distinctive tracks. The lyrics draw on philosophy, social issues, art, politics, militarism and different forms of symbolism. Decay Transit does not stand for any ideology. It is as he says, just a metaphor for expression.
