Aeroflot Flight G-96 was a scheduled passenger flight from Novorossiysk to Batumi, which on January 7, 1982, the Let L-410 operating the flight crashed into a hillside 22km away from Gelendzhik airport. Because the pilots failed to notice the aircraft deviating from the route. All 18 occupants onboard were killed on impact.

[edit]The aircraft was a Let L-410M, registered CCCP-67290. The aircraft was occupied by 16 passengers and 2 crew members. The crew was, Captain Digich Stepan Stepanovich and First Officer Lutsenko Viktor Leonidovich.
