I am Joe Alan Beauchamp, a small-time donor to Wikipedia and frequent user. I have been an electronics technician (mechanic) at United Airlines, SFO, and retired from that company in 2012. I am a Vietnam era veteran, drafted in 1968 and sent to Korea to the 7th Inf Div, Camp Casey. Originally I studied at N.M.S.U. in Las Cruces in physics and was in the work-study program at White Sands Missile Range, NM, and had a small part while I was working there on the Apollo project. I flew solo in a Cessna (family size airplane) but never finished getting a license. I have done extensive research into my ancestry, largely through Ancestry.com, and have traced my father's line to 1504, to Cosgrove, England. My mother's father's line goes to colonial Conneticut, mid 1700's.
