Alexander Renkl Alexander Renkl (born 1958) is a German educational psychologist who has been working at the University of Freiburg (Germany) since 1999. He has made substantial contributions to research on learning and instruction. In particular, he has published about example-based learning, learning by journal writing, learning by self-explanations and instructional explanations, learning strategies, and learning form multiple representation.
