Hello world. I live in the beautiful Village of Brooklyn Heights, Ohio [1] (formerly the greenhouse capital of the United States). Brooklyn Heights is a suburb of Cleveland [2], which has been home base for me for just over half a century. I'm old enough to remember when there were only three television stations one could watch and young enough to appreciate the newest wonders of the digital age, of which I include Wikipedia. I'm eager to contribute.

I have written about various topics in the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History [3] and Cleveland sports, particularly baseball. I enjoy history, sports, bicycling, reading, traveling, gardening and music. My musical tastes run from Abbey Road (which I have crossed and have a photo to prove it) to Warren Zevon, who so poignantly said "enjoy every sandwich." I concur.
