Does that mean every Wikimedia projects has a separate user namespace? After editing the aforementioned article, I had to confirm my Edit Summary (Contribs), not in Wikipedia, but in the Commons. Note however, that on the Commons Contrib page I a link to Global Contribs, which provides searching and filtering to aggregate such results.

While editing WM Commons page Coommons:File naming, I used Revision History to compare my page to the previous edit session. To listen to Windows pronounce (Magnifier > Ctrl + Alt + left-click) “e.g.” unabbreviated. That’s when I noticed the name of another Commons user named Abdo Zalha. But where is he on Wikipedia?

WP audio file summary page File:Maurice Ravel - Thérèse Dussaut - Pavane pour une infante défunte.ogg includes description attributes, licensing, and even a reference. In the article copy (section “False statements”) that reads, “far reaching effects,” the adjective, far-reaching, has been misspelled. Its entry in Wiktionary proves as much. The Wikimedia Commons user page was updated to mirror the one found on Wikipedia. 09/19/20 Wikipedia page User:OgreBot/gallery-opt-out was edited to correct a grammatical error found therein: A grammatical error was corrected: the preposition “at” was replaced by the indefinite article "a." Also, the page was revised for the reason it was visited in the first place. The username, AG, was added to the list of those wishing to opt out of OgreBot galleries User:OgreBot/Uploads by new users and User:OgreBot/Notable uploads (the Ogrebot tool is used to flag for examination possible Wikimedia Commons “problematic” file uploads. On WMC, after spotting yet another problem with links on page User:Apachegila, the wikitext for userbox EN was reordered: Revision as of 23:33, 21 September 2020 by Apachegila (talk | contribs) (Internal links on Wikipedia don’t exist on Wikimedia Commons. Therefore, userbox EN (English language) was refashioned with an external link to Wikipedia article “English language.” Integration, anyone?) 09/27/20 While searching for a way to change the background color of page User:AG, I made a startling discovery: in addition to wikis Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, there is a wik named Simple English Wikipedia. It has been around since 2001. Anyway, after discovering the wiki, I noticed that, once again, the page for User:Apachegila hadn’t been created yet (it’s a shame MWF wikis don’t a common User space). When Winword’s grammar checker flagged section title “Post election analysis” as being remiss in its lack of a hyphen, WP article “Nationwide opinion polling for the 2016 United States presidential election” was revised again to remedy the malady.

Edit summary: Two-word adjectives require a hyphen to prove that, not just the latter, but both act as one in modifying the trailing noun. 11/01/20 After discovering that I had a user page on wiki MediaWiki, much less automatic login access (not just with Wikipedia, but globally), I created my WM user page, User:Apachegila. However, when I tired to add the copy I wanted to display, I was turned down, purportedly because of spam or vandalism controls (“We apologise” – chiefly UK). Did I ever even set up a page there in the first place? Never mind revising it though, because, by dint of its establishing it on Meta-Wiki first, the Wiktionary user page, User:Apachegila was already refashioned (or created). What a wonderful service it is! Addendum PS: Actually, no matter the wiki (at least on Wiktionary), a user page isn’t being created, my user name in blue (not red), notwithstanding. Unfortunately, my work was undone in Revision 18:24, January 10, 2021. apparently by User:ArsenalAtletico2017, who stated “Trump also said to make yheir voices heard "peacfully and patriotically"; please don't delete without discussion.” (he didn’t bother to include the delinking in his edit summary). That’s OK. At least char string “Qanon” is linked to article “QAnon” elsewhere in the article. 01/99/21 Some minor edits to the copy of WP article TikTok were effected. TikTok has occasionally been blocked for various reasons, including Indonesia and Bangladesh. Edit summary (Indonesia and Bangladesh): Strike “intermittently” and “on different bases.” “became the next country” Edit summary (Pakistan): A mention of chronology (tick tock) is neither here nor there. 01/29/21 In the very first sentence of WP info page Wikipedia:Statistics, the copy reads, “A number of analysis of wiki metrics like edits...” According to the dictionary, the idiom, a number of refers to “more than two but fewer than many : several.” Therefore, any inflection of the subsequent noun must be plural, e.g. no one would say, “a number of house,” “a number of dog,” or “a number of” anything singular. For years, this mistake in the prominent copy remained unaddressed. Why? Unfortunately however, User:Dear W.A.Mozart uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons without removing the first 13 seconds of silence. After doing so myself, in file “Tchaikovsky, Anton Rubinstein & Friends (1890).ogg,” the nuisance no longer exists. Easier said than done though, because the file is used in numerous PIT articles across the globe, including some that detail the erstwhile timeline. Indeed, the one on the Armenian Turkish (?) Wikipedia even spells out, in seconds, the various speakers involved. Woe is me.

The following recording was made in Moscow in January 1890, by Julius Block on behalf of Thomas Edison. The voices begin at 13 seconds from the start of the recording in the sequence listed below:

On the Wikimedia Commons pager for the file, I used the “Upload a new version of the file” feature (instead of uploading an entirely separate file – “Tchaikovsky, Anton Rubinstein & Friends (1890).ogg”) to upload its edited version. The comment reads, “The dead interval at the beginning of the recording was removed.”

After the OGG file was clipped and uploaded as a new version, the copy on article Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky had to be edited as well. Especially since it gave a tick tock of the voices in the recording that included the 13 second dead space. The edit summary reads, “The description of the audio file was altered to reflect its modification.” 05/24/21 In Armenian WP article “Պյոտր Չայկովսկի,” the timeline for the various voices in recording “Tchaikowsky [sic] & Anton Rubinstein & friends(1890).ogg” was altered (x - 13 seconds each) to reflect their appearance in the audio tract. Edit summary: The timeline for the speakers was altered to reflect each entrant’s appearance in the edited audio file (the first 13 silent seconds were removed).
